Special Town Meeting Article 2 addresses a supplemental appropriation for the ongoing police station HVAC replacement project. Advisory and Finance Committee Chair Joseph Lai informed Town Meeting members that the committee reviewed the request and recommends its passage to provide additional funding needed for the project's completion.

According to Lai, the committee's support was nearly unanimous. The advisory and finance committee, by a vote of eight yes, one against, and zero abstentions, recommends town meeting approve article two, Lai said. Town Moderator Steve Trifletti noted that the Police Chief will be available to answer specific questions regarding the project during the Annual Town Meeting on April 11.
